The PECB Certified ISO 37001 Lead Auditor training course equips you with the knowledge and skills to conduct anti-bribery management system (ABMS) audits using widely recognized audit principles, procedures, and techniques.
Organizations worldwide seek skilled auditors to evaluate the effectiveness of anti-bribery policies and controls within an ISO 37001:2025-based ABMS. This course prepares you to assess, plan, and execute audits effectively while ensuring compliance with ISO 19011 (guidelines for auditing management systems) and ISO/IEC 17021-1 (certification process requirements).
Through interactive sessions, practical exercises, and discussions, you will gain deep insights into ABMS audit techniques while enhancing essential auditing skills.
Upon completing the course, you can take the certification exam. After passing the exam, you will earn the internationally recognized “PECB Certified ISO 37001 Lead Auditor” credential, validating your ability to audit organizations for compliance with ISO 37001 requirements.
This training course is intended for:
Module 1: Introduction to the anti-bribery management system (ABMS) and ISO 37001
Module 2: Audit principles and the preparation for and initiation of an audit
Module 3: On-site audit activities
Module 4: Closing of the audit
Certification Exam
Upon successfully completing the training course, you will be able to:
The PECB Certified ISO 37001 Lead Auditor exam fully meets the requirements of the PECB Examination and Certification Program (ECP). It covers the following competency domains:
Duration: 3 hours
Location: Online through the PECB app OR in person in one of the PECB exam centers
Preparation: PECB Exam Preparation Guides
Language: The exam is available in multiple other languages and does not need to be taken in the same language as the training material. Additional time can be requested when your native language is not available in your mother tongue (to be requested by candidates on the exam day)
Retake: In case you fail the exam, you can retake it within 12 months following the initial attempt for free

Upon the successful completion of the exam, you can apply for one of the credentials shown in the table below. You will receive a certificate once you fulfill all the requirements related to the selected credential.
The PECB ISO 37001 Auditor certification scheme has the following requirements:

| PECB Certified ISO 37001 Senior Lead Auditor | PECB Certified ISO 37001 Lead Auditor Exam or equivalent | Ten years: Seven years of work experience in Anti-bribery Management | Audit activities: a total of 1,000 hours | Signing the PECB Code of Ethics |
Note: PECB certified individuals who possess both the Lead Implementer and Lead Auditor credentials are qualified for the respective PECB Master Credential, given they have taken 4 additional Foundation Exams related to this scheme.
