What is included?
- You have 12 months time as of reception of the learning material to learn, do the exam and get your certification
- Certification and examination fees are included in the price of the training course
- Participants will be provided with the training course material containing over 200 pages of explanatory information, examples, best practices, exercises, and quizzes.
- An Attestation of Course Completion worth 14 CPD (Continuing Professional Development) credits will be issued to the participants who have attended the training course.
- In case candidates do not pass the exam, they are entitled to a free retake within 12 months of the course completion.
- The PECB CMMC Foundations credential is not approved by the Cyber AB. It is a PECB credential that demonstrates the candidate’s understanding and knowledge of the basic concepts of the CMMC model and the CMMC ecosystem.

Why should you attend?
The PECB CMMC Foundations training course allows you to learn more about the structure of the CMMC model, including CMMC levels, domains, and practices. You will also gain basic knowledge related to the CMMC ecosystem, the CMMC assessment process, and the CMMC Code of Professional Conduct.
The successful completion of the training course is followed by an exam. A PECB CMMC Foundations certificate demonstrates that you comprehend the CMMC model, are able to identify the requirements for CMMC levels, and have the basic knowledge to help an organization in implementing the CMMC requirements.

Course agenda
- Day 1: Introduction to the CMMC ecosystem and the CMMC model
- Day 2: CMMC practices, assessment process, and code of professional conduct
Examination
The exam fully meets the requirements of the PECB Examination and Certificate Programme. It covers the following competency domains:
- Domain 1: Fundamental concepts of the CMMC model, CMMC ecosystem, and code of professional conduct
- Domain 2: CMMC domains, practices, and assessment process

Certificate requirements
There are no prerequisites on professional or management system project experience required. Thus, following the training course, passing the exam and applying for the certificate are the only certificate program requisites that certificate holders shall meet before obtaining the certificate. For more information, please refer to the Certification Rules and Policies.
